Triggering events Violence committed against the account holder by their spouse, cohabitant, or PACS partner (or by their former spouse, cohabitant, or PACS partner).

Supporting documents, depending on your situation Protection order: Protection order issued by the family court judge.

Restraining measures: Decision by the public prosecutor prohibiting the perpetrator from residing at and/or appearing at the account holder’s home, or decision by the public prosecutor prohibiting the perpetrator from appearing in specific places where the account holder resides.
or
Penal composition: Notification from the public prosecutor of a proposal for reparation to the account holder following a penal composition procedure, or notification from the public prosecutor of the execution of the penal composition, or notification of the validation of the penal composition by order of the criminal court.
or
Opening of a judicial investigation: Notification from the investigating judge regarding the opening of an investigation.
or
Indictment of the perpetrator: Notification from the investigating judge regarding the indictment of the perpetrator.
or
Referral to the criminal court: Notification to the victim specifying the date of the hearing, or order from the investigating judge referring the case to the criminal court as part of a judicial investigation.
or
Criminal conviction of the perpetrator: Judgment of conviction from the criminal court, or order approving a proposed sentence from the criminal court.
